CORINT (Elucidating corrosion of iron by new quantitative multimodal in-situ tomography) (https://corrosion-corint.ch/)

The project targets at a breakthrough in understanding of corrosion phenomena of iron-based objects happening in porous, opaque media, e.g., soil and concrete. Cultural heritage practitioners will benefit from the comprehensive knowledge gathered also through optimized preservation procedure for archaeological sites and artifacts before and after excavations.
