Graduate in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and Master's and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. Her research career began in 2017 as a research technician in the Department of Mineralogy and Petrology at the University of Granada (UGR), Spain. In 2019, she moved to Madrid to work at CENIM-CSIC on the conservation and protection of metals in scientific and technical heritage, having collaborated with several museums with this type of collection, such as the National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT). During 2024, she continued at CENIM-CSIC working as a postdoctoral researcher in the implementation phase of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS). In 2025, she moved to another CSIC institute, IGEO, after obtaining the Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellowship, where she has been researching new restoration mortars made from sustainable and recycled materials. She is currently an associate scientist at HE-ARC CR, Neuchatel, Switzerland, after obtaining the Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowship from the SNSF, with which she will carry out the LUBEST project (Lubricants in the Scientific-Technical Heritage: preserve, remove or replace?), with the participation of EPFL and the collaboration of museums such as the Musée Internationale de l'Horologerie (MIH) and the Historic Military Equipment Foundation of Burgdorf (HAM).
