Laura Cristina graduated from the University of Milan with a Master's degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation Science. Her thesis focused on the use of Raman spectroscopy to analyze paper materials.
After completing an Erasmus Traineeship at the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage in Brussels, focusing on the use of hyperspectral imaging on stone materials, she worked on Raman spectroscopy to analyze Roman glass gems as part of a research grant at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
